Updates and other things

So in the 4 years I haven't posted and a lot has changed. I have not only become to old for Cadet age grout in fencing but also Junior. I am fencing senior, Division 1 and open events only. I have moved from Oregon  (northwest fencing center) to Boston Massachusetts  (Marx fencing academy) and hopefully will have a bit more motivation for this blog. That's not the only thing changing however, I will also be talking about my everyday experiences as well as my fencing, this may include taste in music, places I have been to eat, new video games that I have picked up, and other less serious topics. The only thing that hasn't really changed is my dream of one day fencing in the Olympics! Hope this finds everyone well.

Duel Ladder

We start this years Duel Ladder tonight at NWFC. I hope I do well. This is the event that decides who is the best fencer in the club (supposedly) for each weapon. I fence foil. Once the ladder order is set we can challenge or be challenged by the fencers right above or below us on the ladder. I am hoping to come out near the top.

My dad just told me that he calculated all the miles that I will travel over the next three weeks for fencing. I will travel at least 15,000 miles. I am excited. I can't wait to travel outside of the US.
